Recognized?!

The little hatelist

Here a little example of all the strange and funny things, that occur about 1000 and more times in your life without being recognized as this at all. In its sum of occurance they stand for "crab" in my opinion. Many of you out there will frown and think, i am a negative charakter. Matter of opinion i guess. What do you think, how many beautiful things there are im my eyes, if the ones below are part of the uncomfortable side :-)

technical stuff

  • burnt cds with faults
  • full wastebasket on desktop
  • crashing pc
  • soughing radio station just as scratches on one of your cds (Ulei)
  • batteries going low on the way (Ulei)
  • when the stand-by-button is off on remote control equipment
  • not working technical equipment
  • "antstreets" in your room
  • drinks on your keyboard when you just finished your writings and were ready to save your stuff (Janke)

food and drinks

  • this white stuff on bananas, tangerines and stones at all (Ulei)
  • "cavernous" buns (few dough)
  • adamant, cold butter
  • cable-salad
  • mealy apples (Ulei)
  • chewing gum on the wrong places...
  • "last order" when you just made the decision to booze some alcohol (Janke)
  • burnd toast, when the fridge is empty

before sleep and after it

  • snoring and to be disturbed by it
  • rousing phone calls
  • forgot to set the alarm clock
  • small crumbs in bed

annoying, ieeeh or just *OUCH*

  • somebody makes you curious about something and doesn't tell you then
  • to have to listen to people who don't know what they are talking about (Ulei)
  • to carry unhandy things that slip out of your hands or get ripped
  • nagging, nerving, tacky children or adults (Ulei)
  • crying babies on public transportation or places you can't escape
  • people that drive constantly 75 km/h, no matter if in the city or out of it (Ulei)
  • to watch the train or bus just leave in front of your nose or to have to wait for it when your're already late
  • to get in the car and have to notice, that the seat is all in the front (Ulei)
  • cd cover with broken you-know-what-i-mean in the middle
  • the monthly phone bill
  • to step into dogSHIT
  • leaking drinks in your backpack
  • too short pieces of chalk -> fingernails on the blackboard...
  • rising prices, decreasing wages ;-)
  • to see, how many cellular phone owners DO NOT use vibrating
  • flies and more on the sitting on the tv screen
  • thin walls through which you can/have to listen to the tv-program of your neighbours (Caro)
  • getting out of bed again and again because of little things that you forgot
  • tapping a pen but not following a beat
  • people suddenly stopping in front of you in the middle of the sidewalk (Jonathan)
  • people that walk very slowly on the sidewalk and you have no chance to overtake them
  • chewing loudly
  • people sniffing constantly
  • nuckle cracking
  • to bite one's lip or tongue
  • if you can't find the light switch and are either stuck in the dark or the light (Jonathan)
  • people with bad breath, explaining something to you (Falk R.)
  • people who haven't got their mobile on them when you try to call them (Falk R.)
  • embarassing answering machines (Falk R.)
  • small, yapping pooches (Falk R.)
  • cyclists driving side by side (Falk R.)

  • fingerlicking to turn over a page
  • to study 24/7 for a bloody "F" (test) (Mamü)

uncomfortable

  • cold bathrooms
  • headwind when you're riding the bike
  • economically showers (5 secs on, off, 5 secs on, off, etc.)
  • to be tired and have to stay up
  • to cut fingernails too far (OUCH!)
  • to get caught (Melle)
  • cold toilet seats
  • too short blanket
  • carrying around a wet umbrella (Janie)

clothes

  • too tight shorts ;-)
  • socks in sandals (Ulei)
  • t-shirts with wide openings (Ulei)
  • white (socks to shorts) pulled up to the knees (Martin)
  • when cars drive through puddles and splash you
  • buffalo-shoes, in white, open at the back (like sandales) and white tennis socks (Tobi)

time

  • impatience
  • road works
  • detours
  • long waiting lines
  • empty petrol tank, empty account
  • to get a date cancelled minutes before it
  • to miss a call by one ring

characteristics

  • baseless unfriendly people
  • enviousness
  • roomates that neither wash the dishes nor are companionably
  • people that are wrong and don't admit it
  • people that say they "get back to you"
  • the smell of sweat
  • people that argue things, that have been their holy opinion before
  • people that you can't get rid of even not by using the worst verbal slaps in the face (Martin)
  • people being inconsidered (e.g. you're already asleep in your (hostel)bed and people enter in the middle of the night, turn the light on and make noise) (Jonathan)
  • people who want to be liked by everyone (Frauke)
  • people who never contact you and if then just talk about their own problems (Hey guys, do you really think I work for free?! :-) (Mamü)
  • people who just smile at you because they want something from you (e.g. money, a ride, etc.) (Emy)
